We love the International Association of Culinary Professionals conference. This year we organized conference sponsorship for CanolaInfo.org and arranged to feature recipes and spokesperson Nathan Fong at Luncheon. Nathan developed several recipes for CanolaInfo including the Asian Orange Soy Marinated Salmon we featured at the event.
The Canadian Flax industry commissioned our team to develop a brand to promote the health benefits of flaxseed. We worked with designer Gerry Unrau, Colorshape Communications to develop the brand.
BlueSkyIdeas oversaw 3 branding projects by the Canadian Canola industry for their North American market development program including the original Canola Information Service and the current CanolaInfo.org. The original bran was developed for the North American Market but today is used worldwide to promote canola oil. We worked with designer Gerry Unrau of Colorshape Comunications to develop the look, feel and logo!
After establishing a brand identity for HealthyFlax.org we applied it to the HealthyFlax.org website development. We then went through a website planning process lead by Arxus. BlueSkyIdeas managed the project including overseeing design, website planning and programming and content development. BlueSkyIdeas continues to oversee updating and content development.

CanolaBrio! was a nutritional newsletter published between 2002 - 2004 to highlight current nutritional research findings around fats and oils, especially canola oil. The project began with the development and publishing of a Canola Oil Annotated Bibliography. The findings of the bibliography were then reviewed and articles written around such topics as Canola Oil Beneficial for Type-1 Diabetes, Alpha-linolenic acid and the Prevention of Heart Disease, The Trans-fat Dilemma - An Update.
The name was developed from canola \can-OH-luh\ noun: healthy; oil; infinite possibilities and brio! \BREE-oh\ noun: vigour; vivacity; and liveliness.
