A successful event is all in the details. From arranging to exhibit at a conference to farm tours to cooking demonstrations to arranging speakers to gala evenings our team loves to figure out the most meaningful angle for the audience and then put all the details around it. Here are some examples of the various events we have planned and executed.
We love this video from the Saskatchewanderer about the Farm to Fork tour we organized for Farm & Food Care SK.
Our fourth Farm to Fork tour organized for Farm & Food Care Sk. The tour hosted food writers, chefs, and media dietitians for two days and included tours to a grain, beef and dairy farm.
We had the pleasure of working with the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers during International Year of the Pulse (2016) to help promote pulses within the province of Saskatchewan. It was a busy year planning and executing 27 events across the province. Highlights included exhibiting at several tradeshows, delivering cooking demonstrations and nutrition talks, judging at the Chef Series at Taste Saskatchewan, showcasing pulse plants at GardenScapes and handing out thousands of brochures and gingersnap cookies!
This is the third Farm to Fork tour we have organized for Farm & Food Care Sk. The tour hosted food writers, chefs, and media dietitians for two days and included tours to a grain, beef and dairy farm. We also toured Star Eggs and Great Western Brewing. Participants were encouraged to ask questions and delve into all sides of farming.
The weather cooperated with our breakfast and cooking demo at the Saskatoon Farmer's Market. Chef Jeni educated and entertained food writers from across the US, Mexico and even China with information about local ingredients including - of course- the star of the show canola oil!
Coookbook author, chef and culinary educator - George Geary joined us at the CanolaInfo.org exhibit portion of the International Association of Culinary Professionals in Los Angeles, CA. George developed a flavoured popcorn recipewhich we had designed, printed and attached to bags of popcorn for our giveaway.
In 2015 we planned two Farm to Fork tour for Farm & Food Care Sk. One in Regina and One in Saskatoon. The tour hosted food writers, chefs, and media dietitians for two days and included tours to a grain, beef and dairy farm. Our role was to secure influencers and plan every aspect of the tour to encourage interaction between participants and farmers to maximize opportunities to create dialogue and understanding.
We love the International Association of Culinary Professionals conference. This year we organized conference sponsorship for CanolaInfo.org and arranged to feature recipes and spokesperson Nathan Fong at Luncheon. Nathan developed several recipes for CanolaInfo including the Asian Orange Soy Marinated Salmon we featured at the event.
