Mustard Mention in CAFE magazine

We have been working with Spread the Mustard to help pitch article ideas to foodservice and food manufacturing magazines in an effort to promote mustard and encourage larger volume users to buy our Canadian mustard. Our efforts recently paid off with mustard mention as an important ingredient in making vinaigrettes in the CAFE: Center for the Advancement of Foodservice Educators magazine that goes to Chef Cooking School instructors and students across the US and Canada.

Mustard Mention in Flavor & The Menu magazine

Proud of the small part we played in getting mustard mentioned in this article in Flavor & The Menu magazine. One of the best parts was Chef Steve Squier from Picaro response to seeing his recipe and quote in the article... "Wicked." We agree!

Connecting Consumers to Farming and Food

We are so excited about the response to the Canadian Food Focus project! We launched the website and social media in March 2019 and in the first 6 months we have reached over 1.5 million Canadians mostly in urban areas. We have also had over 40,000 website visits that last on average over 2 minutes. We have also had over 100,000 likes, shares and comments through our social media platforms.

Canadian Food Focus Display and Handouts

This is a banner display and handouts we we developed for Canadian Food Focus. Love the bright cheery colors and working hands we weaved into this promotion! We also used these visuals in Facebook advertising and for the launch of this new brand. #everythinggrows

Canadian Food Focus Social Media

Here is a sneak peak of one of our newest projects - a consumer website and social media platform focused on telling Canadian food & farm stories, exploring how #everythinggrows, sharing recipes & advice to help consumers make confident food choices. We are so excited to be working on this with Farm & Food Care SK.

Sustainable Farming Social Media Posts for CanolaInfo

These are a set of social media posts we developed for CanolaInfo.org to highlight the importance of soil conservation and sustainability to Canola farmers.

Social Media Post: Canola farmers not only make their living from the land; they also live and raise their families next to the fields they farm. That is why healthy soil, water and air are so important to them. #sustainablefarming

HealthyFlax Graphics for Instagram and Facebook

Here is a sample of some of the social media graphics that we have create for HealthyFlax. Some are sentiment posts and other promote the health and culinary benefits of flaxseed.

Nuffield Canada Agriculture Scholarship Social Media

Over the past year, we have helped Nuffield Canada Agriculture Scholarship with posting, content development, Facebook and Twitter advertising, graphic development for their Facebook and Twitter pages. We also helped them set up Hootsuite to schedule their posts and improve engagement with like-minded organizations and potential funders. As a small non-profit with a limited budget, our goal was to set them up with the tools and the confidence to eventually manage their own social media in a cost-effective way.  Although we will still provide support from time to time, we are happy to say, that they are now maintaining their platforms.

Avena Foods /Only Oats Social Media

It has been a fun 4 plus years managing and curating content for the social media accounts of Avena Foods/ Only Oats - a gluten free oat grown and packaged in Saskatchewan. We are proud of the work we have done to launch their social media sites and to build a following and a community. Their marketing team has grown and starting in January 2017 they will do their social media in-house. We wish them all the best - it is a great product.
