Healthy Eating and Resource Management Award

Canadian Food Focus has received the Healthy Eating and Resource Management Award from the Regina Home Economics for Living Project through the Canadian Home Economics Foundation! The award goes to programs that provide educational information to individuals and groups in the home economics areas of healthy eating and household management.

Connecting Consumers to Farming and Food

We are so excited about the response to the Canadian Food Focus project! We launched the website and social media in March 2019 and in the first 6 months we have reached over 1.5 million Canadians mostly in urban areas. We have also had over 40,000 website visits that last on average over 2 minutes. We have also had over 100,000 likes, shares and comments through our social media platforms.

We are so excited about this new project - Canadian Food Focus. Our team has been part of the initial branding and then conceptualized the website and social media rollout. We now mangae the website and social media platforms. We launched the website on March 20th - the first day of Spring. Working with client the Canola Council of Canada on translation, photography, recipes, content management and overall design of microsite. This also includes updates on special projects such as Facebook campaigns or other promotions in Korea.

Working with client the Canola Council of Canada and Allison + Partners (China) on translation, photography, recipes, content management and overall design of microsite.

CanolaInfo French Microsite

Working with client Canola Council of Canada and translator Novasim Consultants Inc. (Rosemarie Repa Fortier). Work includes design, photography, recipes, content managment and monthly updates to home page.

CanolaInfo Spanish Microsite

Working with client the Canola Council of Canada and translator services ROX United (US),  Salud Consulting, Inc (US), and PR People (Mexico). Work includes design, recipes, content management, bi-monthly updates to home page with rotating features and SCO's, updating quarterly marketing campaigns. This microsite is used in both Spanish (US) and Spanish (Mexico) markets.

SaskCanola Website

Working with client SaskCanola on content management that includes monthly updates with news releases, Canola Watch, Real Agriculture (Canola School), CJWW weekly posts, CJVR monthly posts, Market Prospects, Podcasts, SaskCanola monthly updates, research project postings, and recipes. We have also managed some special projects such as a photo shoot on location for updated photography for website and promotional materials.

Managing overall project for client the Canola Council of Canada and working with other firms Quadrant Newmedia (Saskatchewan), Arxus (Saskatchewan), DesignScout (Chicago, IL), and Ketchum (San Francisco, CA). This includes content management, recipe database management, design, photography, daily to monthly regular updates, social media management, and quarterly campaign update management.

HealthyFlax Website Launch

After establishing a brand identity for HealthyFlax.org we applied it to the HealthyFlax.org website development. We then went through a website planning process lead by Arxus. BlueSkyIdeas managed the project including overseeing design, website planning and programming and content development. BlueSkyIdeas continues to oversee updating and content development.
